Exhibiting is analyzed as a cultural practice that conveys values and norms – and thus implicitly ideological concepts. The inclusion of the display in a critical \"reading\" of exhibitions makes it possible to make previously overlooked relationships visible, be they relationships between object and space, text and image, wayfinding and audience, or information and emotional appeal.
